Stamps and Images

Bronze Age food vessels are decorated with a number of impressed motifs. These were likely produced by pressing various objects such as chords, fingers, or styluses into the wet clay before firing. This section offers a collection of models, the stamps produced from these models, and the single stamps that were used in the process of decorating 3D models of Bronze Age food vessels. Though not perfectly accurate, they offer a good preliminary assessment of the types of impressions possible from different objects.
